The Story
Monument Forge was built because its founder couldn’t find a shop that would take his project seriously.
At 6’2”, finding off-the-shelf cosplay armor that actually fits is nearly impossible. After years of being told to “just modify” gear designed for average builds, the answer became obvious: build it yourself. That frustration turned into a fabrication shop — one designed from the ground up to serve makers, cosplayers, and hobbyists who need things built right, not just close enough.
With a background in the U.S. Navy and years of hands-on technical work, the focus has always been precision, reliability, and building things that hold up in the real world. Those same standards now drive every CNC cut, every 3D print, and every project that comes through the shop.
Monument Forge Manufacturing is SWaM Certified and based in Hampton, Virginia. We work with cosplayers, prop makers, small businesses, and community organizations — because great fabrication shouldn’t require industrial-scale minimums or a corporate budget.
